Dotsure

Hi, everyone. I fill obliged to inform public about Dotsure service I experienced recently. My updated insurence policy for two Audi A6 cars states that if the damage is below R 5000 I have to repair the car myself and if it is over R 5000 it will be covered by the insurance and there is no excess payable. Then the following happened: My wife's vehicle was parked on the parking lot where she works and while she was sitting at the office she heard the heavy sound. She looked through the window and saw the big motorbike falling onto her car. The driver of the motorbike tried to stop the bike from falling down but unfortunately was not able and my wife's vehicle got damaged. We informed insurance immediately and opened the case. After getting the quotations we sent four quotes from nearest (all well known) panelbeaters. All the quotes were from 7*** ZAR which included fixing the dent and resprying front left door. Two days later the insurance assessor without even seeing the vehicle (we sent the images) has issued the quote of R 4790, what is R 210 less than R 5000, simply not to pay the repair of the damage as they will only pay if the damage is higher than R 5000. On the midtime I also discovered that the window in the vehicle is not able to open and requested another quotation from panelbeaters which was R 9000 but even then my claim was not successful. Please if you respect your money and your values, DON'T EVEN TRY TO INSURE WITH DOTSURE, RATHER PAY A BIT MORE AND WORK WITH THE COMPANIES YOU CAN TRAST AND That FULLY RESPECT YOU LIKE A CLIENT.
