Dotsure = 0 Stars

If I could give zero stars I would. We had all of our cats on Dotsure for insurance, so should anything happen we would be covered. Every single time we made a claim, it was rejected. After all our claims got denied we decided that we would email them first before taking our cats to the vet out of fear that our claim wouldn't be accepted, even though in our plan a few of the issues our cats had were marked as covered. We had an issue with one of my cats which we emailed a lady at Dotsure about. She said that it is covered according to our plan. Relieved, we took our cat to the vet and submitted the claim, just for it to be rejected again. Even after confirming beforehand it was rejected, they look for the smallest of possible faults to not pay you back. Unfortunately after constant rejected claims we could no longer afford to take our cat to the vet and had to opt to go to the SPCA. The SPCA unfortunately did not have the facilities to see to our cat and the only option we had left was to go into extreme debt as vet bills are ridiculous;y high or the option given by the vet was to put her down. After a lot of consideration we regretfully decided to put her down. Dotsure made this experience 10x worse. They are taking your money with zero hassle but when you try to get it back its a massive hassle for you. We are in the process of taking our cats off of Dotsure as we realise we are wasting money that we all work hard for.
