Don't be fooled by the nice reps on the phone

Now I know why Dotsure can afford to advertise every 5 minutes on DSTV and I will share my reasoning with you. At first they were very keen to get my custom as they took over from Petsure. I have a Jack Russell who was 12 at the time and they offered me a premium of R328.72 the following year they increased the premium by 30% to R464.80 and in 2023 I will be paying an increase of 40% to R650.72 so I have faced an increase of nearly 100%!! Why, I asked and was told that she is 14 years old now and that reflects on her premium but "we are giving you and extra R1000 cover"! Big ****** deal, as a pensioner that is a hell of lot of money out of my income and in view of her age they are well aware that no other pet insurance company will give me cover so they have me over a barrel! Don't get me wrong I love my dog and no way will I leave her without cover but I am hoping that you will read this and share it with others. Beware of companies who hook you in with a good deal and then throw you to the wolves. 30% and then 40% increase what a *******. Check your policy and look elsewhere
