DO NO TRUST DOSURE

I specifically queried (1) whether our policy is still in place (2) that the spading of our dog would be covered on the Dotsure Whatsapp channel.

I informed the consultant that the procedure will be around R5000 Me: “The VET said the cost would be around R5000, so we would pay R611?” Dotsure: “ Yes that is correct” So it was clear that we would only be paying R611 and Dotsure would be covering the rest – which is why we went ahead with the procedure.

The claim has now been declined, stating that there is a R611 limit on elective procedures.

Had Dotsure said to me we would be paying more than R4000, we would not have proceeded with the operation at this time
