Dissatisfied

My dog, Belle, recently fell ill with Parvo towards the end of last month. This happened 4 days before the 30 day claim period. Surely this wasn't planned, but this is the reason why we have insurance that we pay every month. It is well known that VET Bills are expensive - the Parvo exercise cost me R11 500.00 - hence the reason I took out the insurance in the first place, under the impression that I don't have to worry about my pets health. I have been a client with Dotsure for nearly two years now, with my elder dog Banjo - where no vet bill claims were made.

Surely thou, being a client for that long, with premiums up to date every month, a plan could've been made. There is no hesitation when the monthly debit orders go off of my account, but claiming seems to be a different story all together. I've responded on an email where I am dissatisfied with the outcome, but it has also been more than 9 days without any reply.

It seems that I am throwing money away every month for a service I am not getting. I could use the money for something different or save it up as I still have to cover my own Vet bills.

If I didn't care about my Dogs, I would have never taken out a policy for both of them.
