Discontinuing of mobile policy by dotsure insurance
I had a mobile insurance policy with dotsure since march 2018 until on Friday 29 November 2019 when i received an email informing me that they will be discontinuing their mobile insurance policies. I decided to call them today to make an inquiry regarding the email I received and i wanted to know if i was going to get a refund for the premiums I’ve been paying since they are the ones that have decided to discontinue the policy , the consultant then told me that im not going to get any refund. I feel ****** because im not the one that decided to discontinue the policy and again I haven’t even had a claim since taking the policy.

Thank you for your comment. Unfortunately this was a business decision we made to discontinue this product. Insurance is a month-to-month risk contract. You were fully covered for the time you paid your premiums. We will no longer be deducting premiums from you as we will no longer offer this product. We would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused and trust you find this in order. Should you wish to continue this cover we can offer you bundled cover with your home contents insurance.
