Disappointed

So Dot Sure wants me to pay excess to replace the windscreen for my car. Apparently the minimum is R500 and I have no interest knowing how much excess I'm going to be charged.

Now this is the interesting part, I got a quote for R950 to replace the windscreen. Does it mean I have to pay R500 or more to replace a part that's supposed to be covered by insurance for which I pay almost R1300 per month? If so, this is a **** and it defeats the whole purpose of using this insurance company.

I'm cancelling this insurance.
