Disappointed

This absolutely sucks to be the only one on this page that had a bad experience. At the beginning I was SO impressed with Dotsure, they paid my claims out within one day, no hassles, no issues - friendly staff..everything was great. Until I tried to claim for my dog that has prescribed medicine and costs me a ton of money each month. They simply said that after the ridiculous amount of R300 my dog's medicine limit was reached for this condition..So basically what they are telling me is that I cannot use the rest of the medicine amount on my annual limit (which I literally only once claimed for) because it is for unseen conditions. I understand that one hundred percent, I am however upset that I have to now pay his medicine (which is ridiculously pricey) from my pocket each month, not be able to claim his medicine more than once A YEAR - if I even will be able to claim again for this recurring/chronic medicine AND still pay for the insurance that immediately said NO (what it feels like) the moment they realized that this will be a claim each month. I feel that I should have full access to that money and decide however I want to use it, if it should happen that he might need medicine for anything else, that would be on me.

I am really SO sad about this whole thing because I've been with dotsure since forever, but it feels like they immediately turned into an ordinary insurance company and the compassion for the situation was fixed with a simple "Sorry you are in this situation".

Oh also, it was never explained to me that there will be any limits to accessing the money.
