Damaged car

I am beyond frustrated with Dotsure. After months and months of calling, complaining, and practically begging them, they have finally decided to make me an offer — and now they say the payment will only be made in the next 60 days.

My accident happened in October 2025, and now they still expect me to wait almost three more months just to get money to fix a simple bumper. What makes it even worse is that I am not even their client – I am a third party who was affected by one of their insured drivers.

This entire experience has been stressful and completely unacceptable. I am still driving with a broken reverse light, and I work at night, which makes the situation even more dangerous. How can a company think it is okay to leave someone driving a damaged vehicle for this long?

To make matters worse, someone named Malikah Basson from the liabilities department told me directly that they are not going to speed anything up and that they are sticking to the 60-day period. That means I will end up driving a damaged car for almost 7 months because of their delays. That is shocking and completely inconsiderate. 😡

What really makes me angry is that I had to fight with people on the phone, raise my voice, and refuse to hang up just to get any response at all. No one should have to go through this just to get help after an accident.

Based on my experience, Dotsure has been unhelpful, slow, and extremely inconsiderate. I would never recommend insuring a car with them after what I’ve gone through. This has been one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. 🚫😤
