COMPANY FULL OF LYING AND CHEATING, AD'S ARE A LOAD OF BULL!!!!!

BEWARE - BEFORE GETTING A PLAN!!!!

Dotsure is very good at making promises and all their misleading ad's on TV and media showing major surgeries for your pets and everything. When it comes down to it they will do anything to get out of paying for what is needed. I nearly had to put my dog down after an asshole hit her with their car and drove off. The vet was amazing and made plans to assist us in getting a discount and dropping the cost of the surgery from R30 000 to what we could manage. Dot sure was in no way helpful, even the vet was disgusted in their manner of service and lack of care. After seeing a general vet where medication was given, hospital admission was done as well as X-Rays and then transferred to a specialist Vet hospital where she was again admitted, multiple tests and meds administered as well as 3 x major surgical procedures, my child is now at home. NO THANKS TO DOTSURE. The injuries my baby had were once in a lifetime injuries which 90% of the time the pet does not survive, however my little angel did. DOTSURE WAS NOT WILLING TO ASSIST WITH ANYTHING, Their best line was "incident limits" which sadly was not what i was sold.

When i got the plan, the sales guy said to me "No, this covers any and every medical emergency for your pet excluding your 10% levy which you will have to pay" this i can accept. THEY DONT TELL YOU **** ABOUT ALL THEIR FINE PRINT ****.

Dotsure's Slogan: "From only R73pm - You can have peace of mind that when accidents happen you can get the best veterinary care for your buddy." and the pictures show animals having major surgeries including amputation and getting wheels done etc.

I had to have an Orthopeadic surgeon for my little baby and DOTSURE WAS NO HELP AT ALL!

WHAT DOTSURE FAILS TO TELL YOU: 1. Your 10% levy comes off of the amount they are willing to pay. - Which FYI is not much when it comes to emergency surgery 2. Medicine only covers what pills are taken home, apparently Morphein and IV medication is not medication... "i dont get this at all" 3. The amounts they are willing to pay doesn't even cover the x-rays or the vet consultation.

The average surgery for a small dog costs around R20 000 - R30 000, dotsure's amounts are not even anywhere remotely near to this.

The vet made plans to have her get the surgery at a discount to me, which had nothing to do with Dotsure as they bull****ted their way to get me onto their policy and then Dotsure still had the ordacity to deduct the discount amount from what they were looking at paying.

When you challenge them they say "Im sorry i cannot make decisions, this is what Oakhurst has agreed to" *** is Oakhurst????

Anyways, i will be lodging a formal complaint as this is the most disgusting manner i have ever had to deal with.

HECK Even Discovery has better service, and their service is ***!
