Claim Rejected

I recently submitted a claim to Dotsure under my motor warranty for a cooling system issue, as my vehicle was leaking water coolant. To my understanding, this should be covered under the cooling system component of my policy. When I contacted the chat consultant for confirmation, I was assured that this issue would indeed be covered. However, a few hours later, an assessor informed me that the claim was rejected as the specific part isn't covered under the policy.

This experience has left me frustrated and confused about what my policy actually covers. If a coolant leak, a clear component of the cooling system, isn’t covered, it raises questions about the scope of coverage. I would appreciate a detailed explanation as to why this issue isn’t covered and clarity on what exactly my policy does include, as this situation has left me uncertain about my policy’s value.

I recently submitted my first claim under my motor warranty with Dotsure due to a cooling system issue. My vehicle was leaking coolant, which I understood to be covered under the cooling system component of my policy. When I reached out to a chat consultant for confirmation, I was reassured that this issue would indeed be covered. However, just a few hours later, I was notified by an assessor that my claim was rejected, with the explanation that the specific part in question isn’t included in my policy coverage.
Feeling frustrated, I contacted the consultant again for clarification on what is actually covered under my policy. Rather than providing an explanation, the consultant’s response was, "Did you not read your policy? Please go through it when you have the time." This dismissive reply only added to my frustration and confusion. As a policyholder who has paid diligently, I expected clearer guidance and support in understanding my policy’s limitations.
Following this, I submitted a claim for an ASY valve, also part of the cooling system, only to face rejection again. It appears that only the water pump, radiator, and reservoir are covered, leaving other critical cooling system components out of scope.
Due to these repeated rejections and the lack of transparency, I have chosen to cancel my policy. I believe prospective clients should be fully aware of what Dotsure’s motor warranty truly covers to avoid similar disappointments.

Just received a call from cancellations department which only added more to my disappointment. Rather than seeking to understand why I was leaving or making any effort to retain me, the representative simply processed the cancellation with no questions asked. This entire experience has shown a lack of interest in customer service, suggesting that keeping clients satisfied and informed is secondary to simply collecting payments.
