They started out so well...

My Story: I submitted a claim for my rabbit (on the Exotic Animal plan) on 2019/12/09.

2019/12/12: I get a rejection letter from the Oakhurst Claims department on the grounds that they do not cover routine/cosmetic/elective or preventative procedures. 2019/12/16: After looking over all my documents and policy wordings, I sent a reply explaining that the procedure was necessary to the welfare of my rabbit and asked that someone explain why it was denied. No response. 201912/20: I submitted another request for an explanation and received an automated response that they will attend to my query "faster than a Beagle can sniff out a treat". Well, that Beagle must be ridiculously slow because I still did not receive a response. 2020/01/09: Sent ANOTHER query as to why the claim was denied. No response. 2020/01/19: Sent YET ANOTHER query. I finally get a call to please have the vet explain the surgery and why it should not be classified as routine/elective/preventative or cosmetic. 2020/01/23: Sent the required documentation back to DotSure and awaited response. 2020/01/30: Sent a query to follow up on my claim's progress. No Response.

It is now 2020/02/04 and I have heard NOTHING! DotSure is always so quick to make sure you fill out a review when they do ANYTHING for you but their client care is shocking!
