What they HIDE from you is that they obtain their market value from another source OTHER than Transunion values. This is not stipulated in their policy nor is it mentioned when you sign up. They determine their values from a platform called Trutrade, a significantly reduced amount. They emailed me saying that they're also determining their market values from selling platforms like Autotrader, Carfind.co.za and Cars.co.za....? I had no alternative to accept an amended settlement of loss offer in excess of R50000 from Transunion values, because I needed to buy another vehicle urgently.
