Beware

I wish I had read all the bad reviews about dotsure on here before I signed up. I took out a policy for my dog and inquired if my dog had no pre-existing condition meaning hereditary would it be covered? My dog fell off my bed and it appeared she hurt her leg. I took her to the vet and he said that she had "patella luxation" which was a condition hereditary to the breed. I submitted my claim believing that I would be covered as I had asked about it when taking out the policy. I was given a flat out NO after much fighting the reason being it appears that I did not specifically use the word hereditary and although I thought from the sales person that I was being sold a plan that covered it - it was definitely a plan that didn't cover anything. So two years of paying faithfully a middle finger from dotsure. Bottom line dotsure ensure they do not pay out.
