BAD TREATMENT BY DOTSURE

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with Dotsure car insurance. I insured my car with them five months ago. Recently, my car was damaged at a funeral, and the culprit left without being seen. I followed Dotsure's procedure, submitting photos of the damage. An assessor contacted me, stating they would replace the damaged door and mirror with generic parts and provided locations for purchase post-reimbur*****t. I declined, as I expect insurance to cover original parts. Subsequently, my claim was denied because I couldn't identify the person responsible, despite explaining the hit-and-run situation. They also cited my excess buster as insufficient for the repairs. After I requested to cancel my policy, a representative suggested increasing my premium for future coverage, which would not apply to the current damage. This felt like an insult to my intelligence. I am writing this review to warn others that Dotsure may employ tactics to avoid payouts while readily accepting premiums. Imagine if my car had been totaled or involved in an accident right after purchase.
