Bad Service for Dot Sure
Since I joined I cannot get hold of people at dot sure. My claims are not paid and I send in another claim 4 days ago to the agent that sold me the policy because I have not received a medical card or anything to prove that I belong to Dot sure . Up till now she has not even answered my email. I would like to know how can I cancel my insurance.

Dear Anita
The content of your complaint has been duly noted. After investigating your complaint we can give the following feedback.
We confirm that your policy incepted on 1 June 2018 and that you intended to submit a claim on 26 June for an allergic reaction. During this conversation, the consultant advised you of the 30 day waiting period applicable to your policy. It then follows that since the 30 day waiting period had not lapsed at the time that your claim arose, the incident did not fall within the scope of your cover at the time.
The insurer’s decision not to indemnify you in this instance is in line with your policy terms and conditions.
Furthermore, the process that you have followed to notify the insurer of your claims is not in line with standard claims procedure. We confirm that claims guideline was sent to you at inception of your cover. We have resent this to you.
Your portfolio consultant will be in contact with you regarding the claims process and your request for cancellation.
We trust that you find the above in order.
