******* and not honest.

The consultants can sell one of a heck of a policy but when it comes to claim time they would find all the reasons in the world not to do so. I've put in a claim for my laptop - my first insurance claim ever. To add that the day the policy was accepted, all the details regarding my laptop was provided - age, photos, serial number and model. Now they give reasons that is not on my schedule to try and prevent payment from happening. There is a reason why I insure a R18000 laptop. My laptop was not even ******. The laptop get's checked by a professional every 9 months - without if I am *****ed. They spoke with my service provider on Friday - but then it was said they did so on Monday - telling lies is also one of the things they are good with. Not once did they call me - I am the one who made all of the calls. The lady answering the phone sounds like she is doing me a favour by answering the phone. They don't even put the call on hold while they laugh at their ****orkers jokes. Not just that....the fact that I had to wait prevented me from doing my work. Let me to not submitting quotations and invoices on time and that equeals to me not getting my payments on time. They could've gave me the **** excuses on Friday already.

Needless to say that I am not going to leave it there. I am going to take matters further.

So please anyone....the sales people are great but the after sales service suck. Don't trust them as what they sell is totally different from what you get.

To be honest...I won't held my breath. I think your so called "investigators" should go back to school. I've phone 3 different insurance companies yesterday afternoon, citing the excuse that was used and I was told that is not how it works and not a valid reason for refusing a pay out. I think they should go and read what thermal degration is. It can even happen with a brand new laptop. Like I've stated above - I AM NOT GOING TO LEAVE IT THERE. I've cancelled my policy with you and I am going to open a complaint at the ombudsman. I am highly upset as they try to use a laptop's age as an excuse. Not going to get away with it this time around. So what they are actually saying I will have to buy a brand new laptop every year just to avoid this excuse? No uh uh. Oh and to add - I spoke to my service provider and he said his words were definately not that it was cause due to the laptop's age. Go back to the drawing board and try another excuse. You think you might have a good rating but that is just because the sales people are good. I am furious and I am not even going to hide the fact that I had a blow out on the last phone call I had with your agent - and that phone call only came after I once again had to phone them and had a bad attitude.
