ACCIDENTAL ILLNESS!!

My elderly dog (10) is on the accidental cover with Dotsure. She started vomiting and I took her to the vet. Afterwards I wanted to claim back but was told that vomiting is an illness.... and my claim was declined.

She ACCIDENTALY ate something that upset her so badly to the point of having to go to the vet. Why is it so easy for Dotsure to refuse to pay the claim for this reason. It was NOT an illness claim. Do they only pay if someone accidentally drives over my dog???

I am very disappointed in Dotsure and am seriously considering going somewhere else for my pet insurance.

Hi Dotsure, you sent a reply on 24 December 2024 saying that someone will be in contact. I waited and took into account that it is over the festive season so lots of employees are on leave. It is now 17 January 2025, and still no one from your company has called me.....

Maybe these replies are automated and no one actually looks at them or cares about our complains.
