34 % Increase

I had Petsure Ins (Hollard) which was taken over by Dotsure. I had this for a long time since my dog was still young. When Dotsure took over, they starting with trying to increase my premiums with ridiculous amounts, I could then at least bring it down more in line with other insurances. but this year they have increased it with 34 % and when I queried it, they said it was because my dog is getting old and they would not bring it down. She is a healthy old dog and just goes for a Echocardiograph once a year and then Dotsure only pays half. I pay R600 a month for hear hart meds and it has improved. Dotsure does not pay for the meds, so why must I be penalized for my dog getting old. Ridiculous. Not my fault that they bough Petsure. That was such a good insurance. Please people think twice before using Dotsure. Medipet is much better. My other dog and cat is with them. Unfortunately Dotsure knows my pet is to old to change now, so they have no problem treating me badly. I am so cross. They advertise on Tv how great they are, but in real live that is not the case.
