Today, I visited the Fourways Clinic (DotPharmacy) for my 6-week-old baby's immunization. I have been a regular visitor to this clinic, having brought my other baby here multiple times. I am fami**** with the immunization prices, which are clearly displayed as R150 on their board. This visit marked my seventh time at the clinic.
Upon arrival, I waited as the staff was engaged in training. Eventually, I was assisted, but to my surprise, the nurse wrote down a price of R450 on a piece of paper without any prior communication regarding a price increase. At no point were we informed about the price change until we reached the till, where we were expected to pay R450. Additionally, my baby was not checked or examined, which added to my frustration. I had canceled an appointment at the baby clinic, which charges a similar fee but includes a comprehensive baby check-up, in favor of visiting your clinic.
The nurse's rude demeanor was also disheartening, but I continued to patronize the clinic out of fami****ity, given my previous visits with my other baby. However, today's experience felt like *******, as I was charged R450 despite the board displaying R150.
I am deeply dissatisfied with today's service and feel compelled to share my experience publicly. I believe I might not be the only one who has felt deceived by this pricing inconsistency.
I am writing to express my dissatisfaction and to inform you that I will not be returning to your clinic.
