DoTerra not relieving stress in my case

Towards the end of November I ordered a promo offer (item plus free gift) along with a separate item. These were intended to be given as a birthday gift. My order arrived speedily but without the promo gift. From a subsequent email I gather I was not the only customer to experience this. After a couple of requests this was eventually received on 10 December but the bottle was almost empty having leaked in transit. It is now 14 December and I am informed that this item is currently out of stock so I will be given 'points on my next order'. Firstly, I did not wish to 'pay for points', secondly, this does not help with my intended gift and, thirdly, since I do not intend risking ordering from the company again, the points are of absolutely no value to me. I find it ludicrous that to receive something that was advertised as part of one order I should have to now buy something else - most frustrating and disappointing from a global company like this.
