DOT FOODWEAR - BEWARE - PRODUCT POOR QUALITY COMPARE TO OTHER PRODUCTS ON THE MARKET.

We a manufacturing company in the food industry. We supply all our workers with Gumboots and other protective wear. In December 2018 we bought from a retail DOT Gumboots that was recommended to us. This Gumboots did not last 16 weeks. And this was not a isolated case of one worker that boots did not last. they start breaking at the seam line in the back.

All other manufactures of Gumboots - I do have there emails - say Gumboots- if it is good quality and use under marginal circumstances should last (24 weeks minimum) 6 months as minimum but normally (52 weeks) 12 months. We normally use another brand it it definitely last 12 months plus - as I have records to proof and sustain this.

This gumboots was worn by small ladies that peel vegetables, and it did not last.

We respect DOT FOOTWEAR the company and their policy that they say theirs only last 3 months, and I take responsibility that I assume it was good footwear. But just to be clear they do not state the live time of it on their website as of today 9/5/2019

So I please just want to inform any other potential buyer of gumboots, their quality is not as good, and they say- I also have their email it will last only 3 month "Quote for the retailer that receive their reply" DOT classifies them as semi-disposable and carry a expected lifetime of 3 months on their gumboots, I did forward the pictures to them but they declined as to replace as it was close to life expectancy.

So be aware that DOT Footwear is not the quality you maybe use to from other manufactures
