Certifications

DOSS were assigned to do all our certificates since we have sold our house. The inspections were done, and was told there were a few minor issues to be sorted out. We received the report a few days later, and these 'minor' issues totaled R8000. After the inspections were done, we asked the plumber how long the fixes would take. He told us 2 hours, but couldn't tell us what exactly needed to be done. The plumbing work alone was quoted as R3000. We subsequently got the minor issues fixed and certified for R350. We got another electrician in and half the issues on the list were not even required. I would not recommend DOSS for any certifications.. They are simply out to take your money
