Certificate of Compliance: Non-Compliant Propert

I recently bought a property and this company was assigned to provide the certificates of compliance. Straight after issue, the tenant in the house at the time, warned me that the electricity was tripping and there were issues. I informed the agent who insisted they return. That improved matters and the transfer was registered. BUT now that I have moved in and started work, I have had an electrician prove that the property was never compliant. Even the municipality has confirmed that there are a number of ******* points. Contacting DOSS has been useless and they will not return my calls. Now I sit with the costs that ought to have been borne by the seller.
