Disgusting service from Dormehl phalane property group

I found a flat on property24 which I really liked. I called the agent from DPG who was responsible for the place for a viewing. Upon viewing I sent all the necessary paper work and was asked to pay a deposit of R2000 to reserve the place. She then sent me a lease agreement which she was rushing me to sign because that was the owners instruction. After thoroughly going through the agreement, I found many discrepancies and inconsistencies I.e. it says I don’t put for refuse collection on one clause and in another it says I do. They list things I pay for and also say I’m responsible to pay for all utility services. Then they say the owner pays for rates Taxes and levies but also try to make me pay for things covered by the levies. I queried this. And told them that I can’t sign this up until we fix and address these issues. They then go and ask, do I want the place or not (mind you they asking me this and I have paid a deposit). The supervisor/ manager tries to assist but she also uses the same bulky tactics of trying to coerce me to sign a lease agreement that is flawed or else they will have to give the place to someone else. After a while if back and forth, she concedes to the fact that there are flaws in the lease agreement and promises to rectify them and carry the u necessary costs that they seem to have worded into the lease agreement. Surprisingly, they have gone and out someone else In the apartment even though I had paid a deposit to reserve the place. Instead of fixing the lease agreement wording or making sure we each an amicable solution, they go out someone who won’t bother reading the agreement, someone who signed when they said sign here.

The quality of service from this company is disgusting to say the least. Also, I want my money ASAP. Don’t use this agency, take it from me.
