Bad service, Poor communication and sketchy details about deposit refunds!

I have rented with Tyson properties in Amazimtoti and I have lived there for almost 2 years, the property was then sold to Dormehl properties. I had an agreement with the previous estate agent that I could give 1 months notice prior to moving out to which I did. I was told I would be charged a cancellation fee and my deposit would be withheld pending whether or not they could find another tenant for the premises. My lease was due to expire on 31st July 2018 . Needless to say they had found a tenant who paid the deposit and rent and said I would not be charged or penalized and they would inspect the premises to which I had asked how was an inspection to be done based on the fact that upon moving into this premises I had never had an ingoing inspection done by the previous estate agent. The outgoing inspection was done and out of R4730.00 , R900.00 was deducted to clean the flat and to conduct an outgoing inspection [ at least this is what I was told by Debbie steyn] I then asked what the R900.00 was deducted for and they had said R500.00 for cleaning the flat and R400.00 for an outgoing inspection, i then challenged this an asked for a copy of the breakdown to which I have not received, I then called them back and the story has now changed to R700.00 for cleaning a bachelors flat [absurd] and R200.00 for cancelation fee, and was told no monies were deducted for an outgoing inspection but rather a cancellation fee to which I was told there was no cancellation fee by the estate agent and my landlord. The estate agent whom I dealt with in an attempt to find another tenant for the flat was Zenobia [ found her to be highly ***********, I think I sold the flat more than she did]!!] nevertheless if I had not asked about the flat I would never get any feedback or my deposit back. I was also told that it was in my lease to deduct R400.00 for an outgoing inspection to which was non existent, the only thing that was in my lease agreement was that an inspection would be conducted but nothing about a set fee, nor was there any details/amounts for a cancellation fee. Highly frustrated and disappointed, nobody should use this estate agency!!!
