Not a "Quality Traditional Mediterranean Experience"
We went for dinner on Sunday 20 January 2019 at Doppio Zero Blue Hills. Been to Doppio Zero restaurants before and usually a good experience. However the quality of food really took a nose dive. For a group that pride themselves that have a "passion for quality" our experience was anything but a quality experience.
One of us ordered Lasagne and this dish was served with soya beans and no layers of lasagne in between. Just soya topped with cheese? I have to admit our dogs did enjoy it though.
We also ordered Gluten free Alfredo pasta, the pasta was not properly cooked and still hard. We all know that Alfredo is not Alfredo without ham. Doppio decided to serve the half raw pasta with mushrooms and some creamy sauce nothing else :(
This experience was the complete opposite of the so called "Quality Traditional Mediterranean Experience" Doppio Zero list as one of their value propositions. Hope you will start to pay more attention to your recipes and less so on your margins when you design your menus and recipes. We are prepared to pay little extra for well prepared food.
This is most certainly NOT the Doppio ethos at all and we are humbly apologetic that your experience was so poor in terms of food quality.
We will address all these issues at restaurant level and ensure this does not happen again.
Thank you for taking the time to provide us with this feedback so that we can continually work on improving our business correctly
Kind Regards
