No more love from Doppio Zero Belair
We've supported Doppio belair for many years and know most of the staff and when I specifically asked them to make my life partner's birthday weekend special for him by singing for him they did absolutely nothing. I made are arrangements the day before and even reminded the one manager on duty just before we finished dinner on Saturday evening. I know the restaurant industry has been struggling since covid but does this mean people have stopped caring? Deeply disappointed and hurt by the lack of love.

21 Feb 2021, 05:03People work hard and people who are stressed depend on the good people in the hospitality industry to make them feel relaxed and valued in order to find a place to unwind and feel comfortable... The staff in the restaurant industry have such an important role to play in society and this is why we dine out every Saturday... This is our only escape from our very stressful lives and this is why I was so disappointed. Also because we have gotten to know all the staff here at Doppio Belair ... To think, we were not going to go out this weekend because we were very tired but I decided we'd still go to Doppio because I made this very simple arrangement for them to just give us 1 min to sing and wish him a happy birthday after dinner... Only to be told oh sorry we were too busy tonight when I voiced my disappointment. Im a friendly person but this Saturday evening I was very disappointed. I felt unimportant and most importantly my partner really needed a nice birthday weekend as he never gets to be spoiled often due to all our work and family pressure. His parents and sister have been taking a lot of strain due to covid and it impacts him emotionally.
