Good customer service at Doppio Zero in Bassonia!

Recently ate at Doppio Zero in Bassonia and also ordered a takeaway pizza for my daughter. I usually frequent this restaurant because they offer good food and there is a wide variety of vegetarian dishes plus I find the décor and vibe quite pleasing.

Unfortunately, I did not check the pizza, and when I got home to a hungry child, the pizza was the wrong one. So, they gave me a ham pizza and we are vegetarian, so having a ham pizza with us was more disappointing. My husband suggested I keep it and exchange it the next day, but my daughter did not seem very happy.

We live in Meyersdal, so it's a slightly inconvenient drive and it was already 7pm. But I decided to drive back with my kid. I got there and the waitress said that this was the pizza they were looking for and our Margherita was there. I was a bit annoyed as we were tired, but I did not create a scene. She called the manager and he apologised and gave us (2) Strawberry Macaroons which I have had not tasted before from their bakery, but upon tasting it now, I will be ordering it again.

So, thanks for the good customer service and doing the right thing. Something that is rare and stands out as good customer service. This is what will get your customers returning to your restaurant. It's always the little things that count.
