Doppio Zero Clearwater Mall

My husband, brother-in-law and I had lunch at Doppio Zero Clearwater Mall earlt January 2020 and the food and service was disgraceful. When we ordered starters we were told that they didn't have halloumi cheese, yet it was on the menu Secondly, my husband ordered a pizza as a main mail and we were told that their pizza oven was not working. He then ordered a seafood pasta; I ordered a salad with chicken, quinoa, spinach and brother-in-law a chicken prego roll. My salad was awful. The quinoa was overcooked, the chicken dry and the salad was tasteless. My brother-in-law's prego roll was also awful. The bread roll was soggy, the lettuce on the roll was wilted and the chicken dry. Lastly, the seafood pasta was horrible, oily and resulted in my husband having food poisoning. I had to rush him to hospital the night for medical attention which resulted in a night hospital bill. He had poisoning from the seafood pasta. We also had to get prescription medication for five days to help with his sickness. I spoke with the doctor treating him at the hospital and he also did not have anything good to say about your restaurant. Going back tonout lunch, we complained about the food to the manager but he was non-chalant about our complaints. I went as far as telling him that we would never set foot there again and that I would tell all my friends about our bad experience there. I told the manager that we were from Durban and that the Doppio Zero Restaurant in Umhlanga was by far better and was very popular. The manager made no attempt to offer us a discount or replace our food. Dopio Zero Clearwater Mall, you suck and your food more so.
