Doppio Sunninghill - Inedible Salmon Fishcakes

I have been a regular and loyal customer at Doppio, particularly with my kids. On 20th January 2018, I ordered salmon fishcakes - they were stodgy, tasted fishy and literally inedible. The manager on duty who recognised me said that she was very sorry and she would remove it from my bill. However after speaking to the chef - he refused and I was forced to pay for half of the bill, despite not having eaten anything at all. Not only is it disappointing that the food was not up to standard but its the manner in which the situation was handled. To date I have not gone back there and will not frequent that restaurant again. It is clear that loyalty is not valued and they have no ethics relating to professional customer service!
