Bad attitude from staff at Doppio Zero Umhlanga

A friend and I drove all the way to umhlanga from Morningside specifically to have a meal at Doppio Zero, only to wait there at the door for several minutes before even being acknowledged by the manager. A waiter approached a little later and mumbled under his breath, without an apology, something about a table and with the most shoddy attitude, almost as though he’s doing us a favour, signalled with his hands where we should sit. We didn’t find the table suitable because it was cold and the table was situated close to the door so we asked if we could sit at an empty table further in. The waiter shook his head and threw his arms in the air and said “no!” And then mumbled something else inaudible and basically insinuated that if we didn’t like it we could leave!!!! How utterly disgusting, disrespectful and disappointing! To top it all, the manager never bothered to approach or rectify the situation!
