Pathetic experience with Vet

Received the most PATHETIC service from this practice recently when I took my sick animal there for treatment. The staff are rude , the vet lacks people skills and does not event allow the pet owner to be present during examination of the pet. When one phones to inquire on the well being of the animal , you are told merely to wait for the vet. When he does arrive , no clear answer is given as to what precisely is wrong in the first place with the pet. I decided to rather take my animal to another vet where I received tremendous service. Doornpoort charged almost R2000.00 for 2 hours worth of treatment where the other vet charged just over R1000.00 for 2 days of hospitalization for the pet and after treatment he is back home and doing well! Doornpoort Diere Hospitaal is over priced , the receptionist needs a refresher course in providing efficient and friendly client services and dealing with clients and I will NEVER EVER again take any of my animals to this practice even if they are the only practice open! very disappointed!
