Doringlaagte Resort- *******

I booked a weekend away for my family at the end of November, beginning of December. I paid up the entire fee well in advance. We were super excited to try this resort for the first time. We were scheduled to leave the Friday, but my 5 year old daughter fell ill just before. The doctor advised against going camping. We were disappointed! We hoped that the resort would understand and be accommodating. The service that we received was atrocious. We were willing to accept any date where they could accommodate us even if it were February or March! All we got was a "we cannot refund you and your date cannot be moved". They took all our money, as I paid the full amount in advance, not just the deposit.

We will never consider Doringlaagte Resort as an option in future and would not recommend it to anyone. They have no remorse for people and unforseen circumstances.
