GARAGE DOOR *******

I had a bad experience from this Co . I called them out for a look at a small job , on arrival I was told that they need to remove the shaft and take it to the workshop , this was on Saturday at say 12pm , and their will return on Sunday to refit the shaft . no estimate or quote was given , hence I then presume its a small amount . on Sunday when their came back to refit the shaft , to my surprise on completion I was handed a inv for R28744.25 , I freaked , I then called 2 other companies , who indicated to me the cost would be around R4000 TO R6000 at worst . as a full new garage door is R15000. after hours of negotiations , the company reduce from R28000 to R15000 , and then to R8000 . I agreed to pay the R8000 , even thou I believe its a ******* . but to close the arguments and to carry on with the day , I paid him the R8000 . PLEASE DONT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY AND PLEASE ALWAYS ASK FOR A QOUTE .
