Overcharge based on insurance excess - SHARKS

<p>I went to Domestic Spray & Repair to get my vehicle assessed and a quote to fix the damage to my bumper. (I was advised to go here by Outsurance).</p> <p>On my part; I made the mistake of letting them know what my excess was. They quoted R100 below the excess (so insurance wouldn't be involved, so they would receive the maximum monies for the job ASAP - insurance payments take a while to process, obvioulsy private settlement is cash) - Their quote was R1500 higher than the closest competitor - that can't be per chance? The quote contained the same fields, labout, parts etc, nothing more, nothing less. They were friendly but I think that is a part of the whole show. Stay away. Much better, more reasonably priced panelbeaters in the area and surrounds. I hope this helps anyone looking for body work.</p>
