Domestic Animal Rescue Group (DARG): Bad communication, don't get excited too quickly.

Quite some time since I met such poor communication from an organization like this. There is such a big gap in communication between the volunteers and employees working for this organization. The employees such as Nicole,Helena and the behaviorist lady are so quick to blame everything on volunteers and fall back to their policies. For example the organization promised adoption at a specific date ( and that a second vaccination is needed a week later). One day before adoption upon WE checking that everything is good for adoption they informed us that they did the vaccination and that the pet can only be adopted a couple of weeks later. One would think with such a formal adoption process ( Pre-adoption application, home inspection and post approval contract) that they would at the very least inform one about time lines and be consistent with vaccination dates and not make things up as they go along.

This way of doing things removes ones excitement and potential relationship one would need with the organization.

The bottom line is don't get excited too quick based on what they tell you..things might change WITHOUT notice.
