02 June 2023 - Doggieshome, Michelle Brooks ***) seems to pretend to sell puppies of all breeds at high prices. Puppies advertised as pedigree registered. We asked how much it will cost in total as they are based in Uppington apparently and we are in Boksburg. So the cost must include the delivery as well. They said R5500 including the delivery. We paid and they send notice that courier,, Atlantic Prime Logistics, will be in contact. The courier, Harley Morgan (***) contact us to say they need R14999.00 to pay for a better crate with thermo in which the puppy will be safer and if we refuse they will not be able to deliver. and they will refund R14500 once delivered. We query with Michelle if this is normal - and why did she never mention this when we queried. At first she says she will contact the courier and ask. But try to convince me then that they use them always and they deliver. I told her I think I'm being ****med. She says no - that will be inhumane of them. I insist on a refund as I am not prepared to pay R14999. She promise to refund me by end of the day. But then says she have not yet time to collect the puppy from the couriers.
