Dodos Zeerust Poor service

Bought boots on 13/05/2019 and they were damaged around the 20/06/2019.I took the shoes back to the store in Dodo's Church Street Zeerust and was told by the Store Manager that they cannot refund or exchange the merchandise.Their exchange policy allows them only a 7 day period.They offered to repair them but I cannot accept that kind of a response from that store when I have paid for the merchandise.
