I have visited Doctor Martelize Brand (Healthworx) for the first time in May as I needed a second opinion, going through a very tough patch with regards to my health. I advised her that I visited my gynecologist prior and wanted a second opinion from her. She literally saw me for about 10 minutes and advised me to wait for the blood results from my gynecologist and wrote on the blood form that the results should be sent to her as well. She told me that if the results are not what I am 'hoping to receive that she will contact me and we can take it from there.' It has been literally FIVE MONTHS LATER and I have not heard from her. It was my gynecologist that called me because the results were not good and I needed to start treatment right away. Since then, thanks to my doctor I am finishing treatment and on a road to speedy recovery. The treatment that I received from Dr Martelize Brand was truly pathetic, ********* and an embarrassment to the rest of the medical team. Doctors take a medical oath to look after the patients health to their best ability and provide a loyal service, in this case Martelize Brand failed poorly. I got charged R400 + for nothing, as she did not have the decency to even get back to me or assist me in any way.
