Mr. Erwin Lass, Clinical Psychologist at Zwavelstream Clinic in Pretoria (Practice Number: ***), submitted a claim to my medical aid for a consultation dated 10 June 2025, in the amount of R2,268.10. I did not consult with Dr. Lass on that date — or on any date near it. I contacted Dr. Lass directly on 17 June 2025 to inform him of the incorrect claim and requested that it be reversed. I followed up again on 17 July 2025, and he responded that he would discuss the matter with his administrative staff. However, as of 4 August 2025, the claim has still not been reversed, and I have received no further feedback. I find this situation deeply concerning. Charging for services not rendered is not only ********* — it borders on *****ulent behaviour. I believe this may indicate a broader issue and could potentially be affecting other patients as well. I am requesting urgent intervention to investigate this matter and ensure accountability.
