The latest response

It would seem that the managers at Docassist have a fragile sense of the company’s good name, or at least act like they do. I recently posted a complaint about how their company had lost an original document of mine and made some potentially unflattering speculations about how this might have occurred.

Instead of replying to the post and defending themselves, they sent me an email (that same day I might add), demanding that I remove the post and threatening legal action if I did not. They even made a half-hearted attempt to justify their mistake in losing the document by comparing their failures to others who have made similar mistakes, including the high court.

While South Africans have come to expect mistakes from what many consider a mediocre government, it doesn’t bode well when seemingly esteemed companies start comparing their own failures to branches within said government.
