I need help to get our refund from DMZ guesthouse

As a group we made a booking for month end of October and paid 50% of the charged amount,i sent an email to cancel the booking and sent on WhatsApp, i have been calling but they are not taking my calls snd no feedback from emails and WhatsApp, it’s been a month already. Im thinking of involving police in this so that we can get our refund.
