Shack on Wheels (DMJ)

If you've never heard of a shack on wheels then you've never been on a DMJ bus. Sunday 03 Jan 2021, I travelled from Queenstown to Cape Town with DMJ. When we got in there were empty seats on the left side of the bus and to our assumption the bus was not fully booked only to realize that the reason those seats were empty was because the rain was coming through the glass panels as well as some parts of the roof. We notified the conductor whom unfortunately could not do much about the situation as it was beyond his control. What I don't understand is that, is there no regulatory body that inspects these buses as they get away with vehicles that are not in good standard to carry passengers yet still charge huge amounts for inadequate services. I would however like to raise a thumbs up for their staff. They are most friendly and know how to deal with people. Hope and pray that they get a better employer that can provide them with better resources to work with.
