In assuming that consumers don`t know their rights, DMC Debt Management is on a witch hunt, ******** people, trying to collect on dormant debts.

No communication, commitment to pay or arrangements to pay an account for over 3years legally renders it dormant/ prescribed. This is a contravention of the NCA Sec 126b, which states that no person may continue collection or re-activation of such prescribed debt as a prescription Act 68 of 1969 (Prescription Act).

If this prescribed debt is not removed from my credit profile/ record within the next 30days and confirmation sent to me that the account is closed, I`ll be laying a formal complaint with the NCR and LSSA.
