Whats the point of paying Woolworth if they dont close accounts

Can Woolworth and DMC close this account.

I settled the account and asked that they close it and its still open and incurring interest. I can't pay for something I have asked to be closed and kept getting ignore

DMC hasn't provided me with a settlement letter for an account paid fully in June 2022. I will not be response for debt incurred because people are lazy to do their jobs. Account was settled under this referrence number *** on the 1st of June 2022. I want this off my credit report as in yesterday. As its affecting my credit score negatively
