******** listing at credit bureaus

I took out a loan few years back with Capitec (which was just over R1000). They got a judgement against me. Years later I contacted Fenwick Boshoff Attorneys as I received an sms regarding my Capitec account. I started paying the monthly payments to Fenwick Boshoff Attorneys since mid-2016. In September my payment profile showed I'm 150 days behind on a 'DMC/Real People' account and reflected a balance of more than R4890 (almost five times the original amount!!!) although I have been paying since mid-2016 to Fenwick Boshoff.

DMC/Real People never send me an official letter that they bought over the debt from Capitec. They also didn't send me a letter 20 days prior the listing, as per the rules of listing. Only my October has been sent to the credit bureaus by DMC/Real People. All of a sudden I'm 150 days + behind again on my profile for November, although they have received payments each month. They ignore the NCA and do as they please: Submission of consumer credit information to credit bureau (3) All sources of information as set out in section 70(2) of the Act and Regulation 18(7) must take reasonable steps to ensure that the information reported to the credit bureau is accurate, up-to-date, relevant, complete, valid and not duplicated.

This is affecting my credit profile. I have submitted this complaint to the ombudsman as well, not sure how big the backlog is. DMC also keeps playing for time by saying they will investigate, but it has been months now and nothing has been done. Only feedback that I got last year is that they will investigate with Capitec. Capitec doesn't have anything to do with this anymore? Cherise Tyson is ignoring my e-mails.

This is far from closed. Still listed for the same debt twice on my payment profile. DMC also said that lawyers will pay over full amount as soon as amount has been settled - lawyers informed me that they have been paying my instalments each month to DMC.... Apparently NCA not applicable to DMC as they don't update credit bureaus and do as they wish.

I state again: Submission of consumer credit information to credit bureau (3) All sources of information as set out in section 70(2) of the Act and Regulation 18(7) must take reasonable steps to ensure that the information reported to the credit bureau is accurate, up-to-date, relevant, complete, valid and not duplicated.
