Unknown DMC account

My name is Phindile MKhwa**** I don’t even know my account number because I don’t know who you are.

I have noted that there is an account named DMC which I have been listed for on my credit report.

Please note that I have not had any communication regarding this account and thus note that any account that DMC is claiming is dormant and has not been acknowledged in the past three or more years. Therefore, the listing on my credit score would be prescribed as null and void.

I have not acknowledged the debt in the past 3 consecutive years, either in writing or verbally, not made any payment towards the outstanding amount, nor have I promised to pay ( I have been unemployed for 6years now). No summons has been issued within the last 3 years. They are in contravention of the NCA Sec 126b. It states that no person may continue collection or re-activation of such prescribed debt as a prescription Act 68 of 1969 (Prescription Act).

Debt therefore prescribed and I'm not legally bound to repay such. I request this matter be closed. Any negative information will be removed from my credit record.

Please attend to this matter at the soonest and email a Prescribed letter that this account is closed to ***.
