*****sters who are forcing people to accept Debicheck for a once off settlement of account.

I have a Identity account that owes R1900 which is handed over to DMC , I called them today to arrange for a settlement of this account . I asked them to Debit the R1900 on my account on the 18th of August 2025 which is next week monday because they can't debit on Friday .the lady said I should I accept the debicheck mandate which says they will debit R1900 on the 18th of every month. I never accepted it because this is a once off payment not a monthly arrangement.

She called me back and shouted that I should accept the debicheck mandate , i asked her that why must I accept the mandate because this is a once off payment I'm settling the account I'm not arranging for monthly and she said their system is designed like that. She was very rude and putting pressure on me which is unacceptable.

Please ensure that you debit the R1900 that I'm owing you on the 18 of August 2025 and send me my paid up letter or else I'll escalate this matter to the national credit regulators and ombudsman. And trust me it's not going to be nice for your consultants Phumula Mqhayi I've kept records of everything.
