Settlement of Account

I agreed to pay R 5500 over 5 months to clear my Woolworths account. I paid R 1100 twice and then was unable to pay again and called them and I agreed the pay the remainder of the settlement figure in 2 payments of R 1650 each. I managed to pay 1 of those payments i.e. I didn't make 1 payment of R1650. Granted I did skip a payment, but now I am told that I need to pay R 5000. This is ****************. The other day I had to settle my Virgin account with a different debt collector who was brilliant, the amount due was R 3700, they discounted to R 2500 and if I paid by debit order, it dropped even more to R 1300. I couldn't make that payment, but they gladly gave me the same deal and I have since paid them.

DMC are just making it worse for everyone, I have paid money for nothing and Woolies are not getting the last payment. Absolutely disgusted.

I am not happy. At no time, was I advised that this was valid only for a 6 month period w.hich I think is a very valid point that should have been made I do not agree with the below and in light of this, I am prepared to pay the R 1650 now to settle, otherwise, I will not pay a cent further. The other problem is that there is another company that is hounding me for the same payment for Woolworths, how can that be legit? The name of that legal entity is Hammond Pole Attorneys. I will pay the R 1650, but further, I am not paying more. I was never advised of the 6 month period. This is unfair and I have paid you R 3850 of the R 5500.
